Mosaic Insurance’s new app has convenient features like electronic ID cards

Our new insurance app has some awesome features you should check out! In addition to being easy to navigate, this desktop and mobile app allows you to have all your insurance items in one place and do things like contact your insurance carriers, pay your bills, leave online reviews, send referrals, access your ID cards, interact on social media, and more.
What’s even better is you can conveniently navigate within the Glovebox app itself! So, every time you go to Mosaic’s website or Facebook, leave a review on Google, or look at your car insurance website through a carrier like Safeco Insurance, you will remain within the app. No more having your phone, computer, or tablet take off into a new window and forcing you to have to exit and get back into the Glovebox application.

Excited to try the app out? Here's how you get started:
Step 1--Create an Account:
You have the option to use a web browser or a mobile app. If you choose to use a web browser on your phone, computer, or tablet, go to the menu bar at the top of Mosaic’s website and select "Our App" to access the direct URL to Mosaic’s Glovebox. (On a computer, the menu bar is always pinned at the top. On a cellphone or tablet, it is collapsible and can be accessed by clicking the symbol of three stacked white lines in the top right corner.) If you choose to download the app on your smartphone or tablet, it can be found in your app store under “Glovebox,” or you can download it from the direct URL in your device’s web browser by clicking the app option at the top.
After deciding your method to access Glovebox, you will then create an account. On a web browser click “Launch My Glove Box” (if you chose to use the app instead, simply open the app). Then, enter in your cellphone number, agree to the terms and conditions, and enter in the code that is texted to you. Afterwards, it will ask you to enter in some information to complete your account setup.
Logging in from here on out: Instead of an email/username and password, you will always login by putting in your cellphone number, getting sent a text message with a verification code, and entering the code. Once you create you account, the app on your phone or tablet should keep you logged in. There might be times where the application asks you to login again when starting a new session. This can happen because of things like the app doing an update or your device restarting. When using a web browser instead of the app, you will be asked to login each time.
Within the Glovebox application, you will login to each of your carrier accounts. The mobile app has the option to save your carrier passwords so that you do not have to enter it in each time. On desktop, you may be asked to login each time.
Step 2--Verify Mosaic as Your Agency:
To add Mosaic Insurance Alliance as your independent insurance agency, go to the “Account” gear button that is pinned in the bottom task bar. On that “Account” page, you can connect to Mosaic by typing in the agency code (1074). Note: If you created your Glovebox account through a web browser instead of the app, you should be able to skip this step since the direct Mosaic Glovebox URL should have automatically set Mosaic as your agency.
Step 3--Add Your Carriers:
You can add all your different insurance carriers to your app’s home screen. There is no limit to how many you can have, which makes it great for clients who have car insurance with one carrier and life insurance with another. Having all carriers conveniently all in one area will help you save time and be more organized. You can also attach insurance-related companies to your Glovebox account, such as AAA.
To add a carrier to your account, go to the pinned menu bar at the bottom and hit the middle “Carriers” button that has a business building as its icon. There are many carriers to look through, and if yours happens to not be on the list, you can hit “Request Your Carrier” that is above the pinned menu bar on that page.
Once carriers are added, their carrier cards are displayed under the Mosaic agency card on the homepage. To access each of your carrier’s pages, click on their icons. After logging into your carrier pages, your carrier landing page will list your policies and policy numbers, which can be conveniently copied to your clipboard by hitting the clipboard icon next to the number. You will also be able to do things like pay a bill, make a claim, and visit their website (click the “Login” button). Moreover, logging into your carrier accounts will conveniently label the carrier card on the home screen with what lines of insurance you have through them.
After you click the “Login” button, you will be able to log into their website within the Glovebox app and navigate it. From there, you will be able to do tasks you would do normally in your web browser, like:
- File a claim
- Renew your insurance
- View drivers and vehicles on your insurance policy
- Call the insurance company
- See your driving results for things like SmartRide (i.e. your mileage and braking scores)
- Schedule a tow through a company like AAA.
- Pay your bill
- Access your policy numbers
- Access your Auto ID cards (i.e. when you need proof of insurance incase you misplace your printed copy in your car)
- Access other handy documents attached to your account.
Additional Glovebox App Features We Think You'll Love:
1. Easily Contact Mosaic:
From the homepage, click on the Mosaic agency card (Mosaic logo). You will be taken to our agency page that will allow you to call or email us. If you click our phone number through your phone, it automatically opens the call feature to reach out to us on our main line at (425)-320-4280. You can also easily start writing an email to us by clicking on one of the email addresses displayed— firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
In addition to calling and emailing us, you can hit the “Request Service” button, which allows you to start a conversation with our automatic messaging system. After you give all the information you want to discuss with us and complete the conversation, we will get an email notification to our firstname.lastname@example.org email. After reviewing the items that you discussed with our automatic system, we will reach out to you as soon as possible with an action plan. Please note that for us to get a notification that you reached out to us via the “Request Service” button, you must complete the conversation. If you do not hear from us within a few days, your conversation with the automatic system may not have been completed and you should call or email us directly.
2. Access Mosaic's Lynnwood:
On Mosaic’s agency page within Glovebox, you can click on our address and it will open Google Maps automatically (2122 164th St SW, Ste 301, Lynnwood, WA 98087). If you click the address on your smartphone, you can start navigation without hassle. (Please keep in mind, though, that currently our in-person office is closed due to the coronavirus. We will announce when this changes.)
3. Get Access to All of Mosaic's Social Media Platforms:
The Mosaic agency card page lists our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google, and Yelp conveniently all in one area! Within the Glovebox app, you can log into your accounts and from there, you can follow our pages, comment and like posts, share posts to your profiles, read reviews, write reviews, etc. Our hours can also be accessed via the Google link (Mon-Fri, 8:30 am to 5 pm).
Reviews can be read and submitted on Facebook, Google, and Yelp. You can also leave a review on our website by clicking our website URL, then clicking “About Us” in the top menu bar and selecting “Testimonials.” On the testimonials page, there is a link that says “Leave a Review” (right under the title next to the 5 stars).
4. Request a Free Quote:
Click on the “Get a Quote” button on the Glovebox Mosaic page to get a free quote for any insurance that we offer. (Here is a general overview of the types of insurance that we sell.) After you click on the Glovebox quote button and start filling out the form, it will tell you in the bottom left corner how much of the quote form you have completed. Once the form is filled out and submitted, you will be contacted by one of our teammates as soon as possible.
5. Give Kudos for Your Favorite Mosaic Agent Via a Referral:
Did your agent do a great job and you think that your friends, family, and coworkers would love working with them for their insurance needs? In addition to posting an online review, you can send your Mosaic agent a referral.
The “Refer Agency” button in Glovebox lets you refer your loved ones via multiple communication options (text message, Facebook Messenger, email, and social media posting—Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.). When it comes to creating a direct message, it creates text for you and provides a link for that person to connect with Mosaic. When it comes to posting a public post, it gives you the link and you can write your own text about how you think Mosaic is an insurance company that people should look into working with.
We are also happy to announce that each quarter we have a local charity participate in our referral program. For every referral we receive, we donate $10 to the nonprofit. So, be sure to tell your loved ones to let Mosaic know that they were referred, who referred them, and who the agent is when they reach out to us for a free quote! Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County (DVS) is the current charity of the quarter (until September 30, 2020). We have raised $430 and counting for DVS!

Get direct contact information for your agent: If you want to get the direct phone number or email for your agent, you can go to our website within the Glovebox app and navigate to the staff page by clicking on “About Us” and hitting “Our Staff.”
Blog posts: Click on “Blog” in the menu bar to get to the blog landing page and browse all kinds of topics.
Archive: This is where we have past publications of our print postcards and newsletters. We also have an ongoing collection of infographics regarding all kinds of helpful tips. Each item is a PDF that you can download/share. To access the archive page, go to “Resources” in the menu and click “Archive.”

8. If You Encounter App Problems or Have Questions, Glovebox Has a Chat Feature:
The icon in the bottom right corner of the astronaut with a question mark bubble opens the Glovebox chat feature. With this 24/7 chat platform, you can chat with a robot for common topics to get speedy answers. During daily business hours, you can also get live assistance by asking the robot to talk to a Glovebox representative for further help.
Please note that this is to talk to the app developers regarding the app itself. This is not a chat feature to get in contact with Mosaic. To contact Mosaic via chat, go to the Mosaic agency page and click the big blue button that says, “Request Service.”
